Protected Properties

The Smith, Star Branch, Baggs, and Cunningham tracts now are combined to form the 1425 acre Big Swan Headwaters Preserve.

Directly adjacent, The Farm Community consists of 1750 acres. Over 1000 are completely undeveloped, with the remaining property closely monitored to minimize environmental impact.

Protected Land

The 100 acre Highland Woods property is in the remote corner of the 650 acre Highland Woods, a largely undeveloped land cooperative.

The 120 acre Stillhouse Hollow Falls Natural Area was created through a partnership between Swan Trust, Maury County Parks and Recereation, and Tennessee Parks and Greenways, who put together the funds to purchase the property.
